Lineage
SiGung Duncan Leung was an early disciple of Yip Man, with whom he studied privately in Hong Kong in the late 1950s. While living in New York, he passed the system on to Sifu Jerry Gardner. After relocating to Colorado, Sifu Gardner took the late Bart Mann as his first disciple. My SiFu, Chas Fisher, learned the system from Sifu Mann and Sifu Phil Switzer while living in Colorado.
My training began in the mid-1980s and I explored a number of traditional and modern styles before beginning my Wing Chun training in 1999 in Miami. Upon moving to Seattle, I was fortunate to become an early student and disciple of SiFu Fisher. I am honored that he has entrusted me to carry the lineage forward through my teaching at The Short Bridge Athletic Association.
